Why Do Unit Prices Vary for the Same Product by Quantity?
As our prices already include delivery costs, full pallets are the most cost-efficient option, as they are shipped as standard pallets with delivery costs evenly distributed. They do not require additional re-packaging and can therefore be dispatched more quickly.
Split packs require additional handling, as products are taken from full pallets and re-packed onto a separate pallet with wrapping and securing. As part-pallet delivery costs are similar to full pallet transport, this results in a higher unit price. Overall, unit pricing is influenced by handling efficiency, labour input, and packing material costs.
